This spot focuses on fresh, quality ingredients straight from local farms. I really enjoyed the chop steak, though it was a touch salty. The service and kitchen can be a bit slow, but the food is worth the wait. The vibe is lively and busy, adding to the overall experience.

We walk in at 11am sharp. Every seat is open. The staff are warm. The menu is exciting. Ordered my coffee with butter and honey. I order the Blue Grass Breakfast. Jill takes a long look at the menu. Going to take some pictures now!

This farm-to-table restaurant was a great dining experience for our first night in Georgetown. Our server Olivia was the most friendly and welcoming waitress we have had. The deviled eggs and cornbread starters were a perfect beginning to our meal. Since we arrived later in the night, ingredients for the beef stroganoff were out so a good substitute was the two-piece fried chicken with whipped mashed potatoes. Other diners had the fried catfish w/ coleslaw and the largest hush puppies I've ever seen, and the 3 for $23 small plate meal consisting of brussels sprouts, soup beans w/ braised ham, and salisbury wagyu meatballs. The food was plenty and we all went home with enough leftovers for a second meal. Local Feed should be a must-try when visiting Georgetown, and be sure to make a reservation online.

Stopped in for late lunch. They serve all day breakfast. We tried the cornbread, deviled eggs, and chicken and dumplings. I had to season the eggs and dumplings. I also prefer bite size pieces of dumplings and chicken. I had to cut it up a bit, but that’s just my preference. It was definitely made from scratch and with care. Server was friendly and accommodating. Prices are what we expected. Overall great experience and would certainly eat here again!

We ate at the Local Feed in Georgetown, KY on Friday at 5:30 PM, 9/5/2025. This was our third visit of what will be many more! Everything was spectacular the first time we went, and the experience keeps getting better! The 7oz filet (medium rare) is superb; the sides are delicious and the small plates are out of this world. We had the beef lettuce wraps, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes and gravy along with the steaks. She loves the cocktails and they serve Blanton's!! The filet is one of the best I've ever had, on par any filet we've ever had, and, yes, it's that good!! The ambience is perfect-modern and rustic; I feel at ease just walking in. The service is always personalized; I love asking their opinions because they are spot on. Brandon was our server Friday night who suggested the lettuce wraps. We have had good luck with the servers all three times, btw. (They provide your own jar of water so it doesn't run out; love that!!) This is a very "Kentucky" restaurant and we love coming here. Sometimes a restaurant that is new to you seems great but disappoints down the road; the Local Feed just keeps getting better. As an aside, the drive home to Lexington is beautiful-rolling hills and horse farms! What a great evening!!

My husband and I were in town for his business trip and found this little place and loved it! Everything about our experience was top notch. I had a blueberry spritz cocktail, then the skillet cornbread with sorghum butter. It was melt in your mouth delicious! For the main dish I had the chicken and dumplings and it was perfect. Everything was fresh, and the chicken was very tender! For dessert I had the peach cobbler with butter pecan ice cream. Absolutely delicious. Lawrence was our server, he was very polite and on time with everything! Thank you! We will definitely stop back in if we are ever back in Georgetown.
